For me what I loved most about this tile was the look and texture. Helped me create a timeless white wooden look at a fraction of the cost of a wooden floor. This is also easy to maintain as compared to a wooden floor.
Installed the tile on my shower pan. I absolutely love it on the space as its able to withstand molds and mildews
We used this tile in our new farmhouse. It is beautiful! It was a great alternative to the ceramic tile we were originally going to use. This tile met our need for a modern look and our guests cannot get enough of our house. We get a lot of compliments.
I ordered for this tile and combined it with a platinum colored grout. Everything turned out great. I used a wet saw to cut and the edges didn’t chip.
I love it! Wooden texture is amazing and these golden cracks look rich and unusual. Used with a regular kasai carta for my living room.
Thank you, Kelly! This is one of our favorites, too :) We would love to see the final results!
How do you apply to the wall. What substrate do you apply to.
Hello,
International Building Code restricts the use of gypsum drywall, including water-resistant gypsum drywall, in wet areas such as showers and tub surrounds. In these applications, the gypsum drywall should be removed and replaced with a cement backerboard. Bare gypsum drywall is a suitable substrate in all dry, interior applications.
For Installation on Drywall:
It’s crucial to properly assess whether the wall is strong and stable enough to hold the weight of fresh tiling. If you’re unsure, you should always ask for advice from an experienced tiler.
Fill in any cracks or holes from pins, nails or any other type of wall fitting, apply the primer, leave it to dry, sand, and then apply the adhesive (for this tile, use a Medium Bed Tile Adhesive meant for large format tiles).
Best,
Team Tile Club
