Beautiful Tile

Tile Club made my purchase so easy. My samples arrived quickly, I was able to use the online tools to purchase the amount of tile I needed, and it arrived within a few days. The tile itself is gorgeous and arrived in perfect condition.

Spectacular!!!

This tile is amazing! The customer was just as amazing. I started with a sample tile that came in two days. It took me a couple weeks to schedule a contractor, but when I was ready I placed my order and the tile arrived in four business days in mint condition. Not one piece was cracked or broken. This tile is stunning. My bathroom is beautiful. I wish I could attach a picture of the finished product. Since I can not believe me when I say this tile looks better on my bathroom wall than on the website.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • How do you install Beveled Antique Mirror Glass Tile?

We recommend always using a glass adhesive as the mortar when installing glass tiles.
You want to make sure you use a grout join line between 1/8th and 1/16th of an inch - glass tiles should always have grout joint lines between them to provide space for them to flex and move so you avoid cracks or breakage to the tile itself.
Always use a non-sanded grout with glass tiles to avoid scratching the surface.

  • These tiles seem porous. Will the heat from a stove mess them up if I used them as backsplash?

    Hello,
The Antique Mirror Glass is not porous as the surface is solid glass. As long as the tile does not get hotter than 150F, it will not change in appearance.
    Best regards,
    Team Tile Club

  • I want to use this for a backsplash in my bar area. I will need a trim for it. Do you have anything that could be used for trim?

We do carry quite a few glass trim pieces that would work beautifully with these tiles! They do have a slightly different finish, so you can look for something that is the closest match like Stardust Mineral glass pencil trim or Sea Glass gray pencil liner or you could add contrast to the tiles with another color that complements your space! You can order trim and pencil tiles by the piece if you want to preview them with your Antique Glass mirror tiles to finish off your bar backsplash.

  • What kind of grout do you use?

We recommend a non-sanded grout to ensure there is no scratching of the glass and mirror finish during the grouting process - here is our recommended grout! We also recommend a glass adhesive for your mortar to ensure the best installation.

  • There's already a question posted about how to install these tiles but the response only mentions grout. What do you use for installation to make the tiles adhere to a wall (thinset mortar, adhesive, etc.)? Thanks.

We recommend using a glass adhesive for all glass tiles - Laticrete Thinset Mortar Glass Tile adhesive is our top recommendation

  • Is there any type of protective backing on antique mirrored tile, something that protects it during install? Wondering if same as back of standard mirror? Thanks! PS. They’re just beautiful!!

There is a layer between each piece for the transit and storage protection, but no protective backing for the installation. We recommend handling it carefully when installing on your glass tile thinset mortar and using a non-sanded grout to avoid any scratches.

  • How do you cut this tile?

We recommend using King Diamond or Ridgid Diamond blade to cut glass tiles of this thickness. Please check it with your contractor prior to cuttingg

  • I purchased this online but I cannot find how to install this. What kind of adhesive is use is thin set works well? Or a special adhesive needed.

For this glass tile, we recommend using Laticrete Thins-set Mortar Glass tile adhesive and Laticrete Permacolor Select Non-Sanded Grout Base

  • How thick are these tiles at the beveled edges?

Hello! Thank you for your inquiry. The total thickeness (including the beveled edge) is about 3/16''. The thickness of the tile without beveled edge is about 1/16''

  • Does this come in another color?

We carry this tile in both the Antique Mirror finish as well as a Clear mirror finish - they also come in additional sizes in both finishes. You can see all of the options available for this style in our Mirror Tile collection.

  • Will 6 boxes cover 25 sf for kitchen backsplash?

Each box of our Beveled Antique GLass Mirror tile covers 5 square feet - you would have 30 sq ft of coverage total with 6 boxes.

  • Hello, How do you recommend that we cut these to fit our wall? Thank you, Sarah

We recommend a wet saw with a diamond blade - King Diamond or Ridgid Diamond blade - to cut this glass tile with precision. Please check it with your contractor for the best results
