Sagrada Recycled Glass FAQs

Sagrada Spanish Recycled Glass Tiles

Our Sagrada collection is a sustainable, green building material available in square, penny round, and hexagon shapes. They come in three earth-toned shades, and also offer rounded corner trim pieces.

Our Sagrada tiles are made of post-consumer recycled glass, making them a LEED-friendly building option.

Absolutely not! Glass is one of the recyclable materials that doesn’t lose integrity after being recycled, meaning old bottles and other reused glass products can be ground down and turned into fresh new products without any loss in performance.

These mosaics are dot-mounted, replacing mesh with small flexible acrylic dots. This creates a strong bond between pieces in the mosaic, while allowing a secure bond between the tiles and the substrate once adhesive is applied. This is ideal for wet areas like shower floors and swimming pools!

Most of the Sagrada collection are approved for indoor and outdoor installation, including wall, shower, and backsplash areas plus low-traffic flooring. The small chip sizes and high amount of grout lines creates grip underfoot in wet areas, and can even be installed on submerged areas including swimming pools!
