PORCELAIN TILE INSTALLATION & MAINTENANCE GUIDE
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Porcelain tile is a dense, durable, low-absorption ceramic product manufactured under high pressure and high temperatures. It is suitable for a wide range of residential and commercial applications, including interior and exterior walls, floors, backsplashes, showers, and other properly prepared surfaces.
Porcelain tile products may exhibit natural variations in color, shade, texture, pattern, veining, and surface characteristics. These variations are inherent to the manufacturing process and should not be considered defects.
INSPECTION REQUIREMENTS
Inspect Before Installation
All tile must be inspected prior to installation. Installation constitutes acceptance of the material. Before installation:
- Verify product name, color, size, finish, quantity, and shipment accuracy.
- Confirm all cartons are from the same caliber and shade lot when applicable.
- Inspect material for visible defects, damage, or inconsistencies.
- Blend tile from multiple cartons during installation to achieve the most natural appearance.
Confirm product suitability for the intended application.
Do not install material that appears damaged or defective. Claims regarding visible defects cannot be honored after installation.
Due to manufacturing tolerances and production processes, slight variations in shade, color, texture, dimensions, and finish may occur between samples, photographs, and production runs.
