Hello! Could you share the anti slip rating for this tile? Also, is it truly matte? I'm considering it for a shower floor.
Our Blue Grey Herringbone Mosaic Tile is a great choice for a shower floor! This type of mosaic tile isn't subject to slip rating tests the way that large format tiles are, but with such a small format and so many grout joints it should pass slip resistance requirements for most projects, and it is approved for shower floor use. The grout lines between the small mosaic tile pieces create a natural slip-resistance and provide grip underfoot. You can see the approved 'Areas of Use' do include Shower Floors and we only apply this in instances where a tile is safe for wet flooring.
This tile has a slightly pearlescent finish that is more matte than shiny. It is not a fully frosted finish, so there is a slight sheen. We do offer it as a sample if you would like to see a swatch in person before you order!
