The DRYGRES 4DRILL range of diamond bits is recommended for drilling all types of ceramic tiles, especially porcelain tiles, and other facing materials such as marble and granite. In the DRYGRES 4DRILL range of drills, RUBI has used vacuum welding technology, VACUUM BRAZED, which increases resistance to temperature and friction, to fix the diamond particles to the cutting area. The DRYGRES 4DRILL bits are perfect for placing bathroom accessories or any type of decorative accessory on ceramic surfaces and/or natural stone.

DRYGRES 4DRILL diamond bits have been designed to be used exclusively with a corded or cordless electric drill, always WITHOUT a hammer. Their hexagonal connection allows them to quickly adapt to .393 inches (10mm) head drills.

Drill depth for DRYGRES 4DRILL bits is 36mm. for 6, 8, and 10 mm diameters, and 40 mm deep for 12, 14, and 20 mm diameter drills. All DRYGRES 4DRILL bits contain wax inside. This wax melts during the use of the bit and facilitates the cooling and the evacuation of the remains of the drilling (If the wax runs out, the bit can continue working. Only the total loss of the diamond indicates the end of the life of the drill.).

As it is dry cutting, it is necessary, for proper cooling of the bit, to perform a slight and constant orbital movement during drilling, as well as to remove any remaining material, between drilling each time.

The DRYGRES 4DRILL bits, from RUBI, have a system that blocks the loss of this wax from the back of the bit, thus concentrating the wax, always at the tip and guaranteeing lubrication during drilling.

The minimum recommended speed of use for DRYGRES 4DRILL diamond drills is 1000 rpm. For a better finish and longer duration of the drill, it is important to respect the proper turning speed and perform a slight orbital movement while drilling, as well as making sure that once the hole is finished there are no remains of the drilled material inside the drill bit.
