This tile is paper-face mounted which allows for better adhesion to the mortar during installation which makes for a favorite among pool installers. The paper is easily removed with water once installed and since there is no mesh backing, it does not show the mesh through the translucent tile.

Paper Facing Glass Mosaics

Tile Club's 0.6"x 0.6" squares are Paper Face Mounted, leaving the ridged back exposed and the front of the tiles covered in a sheet of paper that is easily removed once the adhesive cures. This forms the most secure bond with the adhesive, ideal for wet areas like shower walls and floors or swimming pools. They're also a great low-maintenance choice for a backsplash, fireplace surround, or slip-resistant floor.

Installing Paper Facing Tiles

Once the glass adhesive dries to manufacturer's specifications, wet the paper facing with a sponge before slowly peeling away to reveal your gorgeous glass tiles. Grout in the color of your choice can then be applied.
