Polished porcelain delivers exceptional durability and is suitable for high-traffic floor applications in dry interior areas. In spaces exposed to water, moisture, or contaminants, polished surfaces may offer reduced slip resistance. For wet or commercial entry zones, consider matte, honed, or textured finishes, or implement appropriate slip-prevention measures.

Slip resistance varies with surface finish and site conditions. Polished finishes generally do not meet the wet DCOF thresholds recommended for commercial environments. Always verify project-specific safety requirements. The installer, designer, or end user is responsible for determining the suitability of the product for intended use.

We recommend wet cutting or the score and snap method during the installation process. Improper installation techniques could expose installer to inhalation of harmful silica dust. Do not dry cut product using power tools during the installation process. Using dry cutting methods could present a risk of acute lung injury.
