QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Ask a Question-
Is this sold on a sheet in the herringbone pattern?
This product, Glacier Black 4X16 Frosted Glass Tile, is a box of individual subway tiles each measuring 4" x 16". They can be installed in the pattern of your choice including the herringbone layout seen in the main image of the shower. This would be a manual layout using tile spacers - you can see our blog post on creating subway tile layouts for more design options and inspiration.
If you are looking for a herringbone mosaic pattern (where the tiles are set on a mesh backing to create a sheet with the design pre-installed that can be set side-by-side to create a continuous look), we do carry a large selection of herringbone mosaic tiles. You can use the filters to narrow by color, material, and more. If you're specifically looking for a black glass herringbone design, the closest one we have as a pre-set mosaic is the Obsidian Black Glass Herringbone Mosaic tile - it does have a smaller chip size at 1" x 3" compared to the 4" x 16" subway tiles, but that will give you some options in the same style! You can also order samples of both designs to compare the sizes and designs in person. -
Can this be used in a residential entry floor?
Yes, our Glacier Black glass subway tile is approved for residential floor use! The frosted finish and grout lines between the tiles help to provide grip underfoot, even in areas like entryways where you might track in water or mud, making it a slip-resistant flooring option.
