QUESTIONS & ANSWERSAsk a Question
Can this floor be waxed with a mop and clean type wax?
Porcelain tiles have a non-porous surface and don't require waxing - similarly, they don't require sealing, refinishing, or significant maintenance, although we do recommend applying a sealant to grout lines to keep them fresh over time.
If you choose to apply a wax finish to your porcelain tile for your own purposes, we strongly recommend checking the specific wax product to make sure it is approved for use on tiles. Always do a spot check on a small, out-of-the-way corner of your tile, or keep an extra piece or two for this purpose. That way you make sure you like the look of the waxed tile before applying it to your entire floor.
