Corazza White Sand Shell and Terrazzo Hexagon Tile is here! Fall in love with our new coastal-inspired collection of terrazzo tiles. These gorgeous tiles are a composite of terrazzo and natural shell, giving them an incredible mermaid vibe. These tiles are sold in boxes of five hexagon pieces. The white sand surface is embedded with seashells to add a warm amber look to indoor floors and walls. Pair them with the matching subway tiles for a fabulous beach look in residential and commercial builds.
Tile Club’s Corazza Shell Terrazzo Collection features cementitious-based natural shell terrazzo tile designed to bring organic texture, soft movement, and distinctive surface character to interior tile installations. The varying sizes and colors of the natural shell pieces create depth and individuality across each tile.
Because natural shell is formed organically, variation is an expected part of the material. Color shifts, size differences, surface markings, blemishes, chipped edges, and minor edge chips may be present. These characteristics are normal for this type of terrazzo product and contribute to the unique appearance of the finished installation.
When installing Corazza Shell Terrazzo tile, follow applicable TCNA guidelines for agglomerate tile installations.

Dry Layout Recommended
Lay out the tile before installation to review shell variation, color movement, edge characteristics, and the overall finished appearance.
This step is especially important for natural shell terrazzo tile because no two pieces are exactly identical.

Tile Club is not responsible for improper installation, installation workmanship, or issues that occur after the material has been installed.

3. Installation Recommendations
Tile Club strongly recommends using a licensed tile professional familiar with current NTCA, ASTM, M.I.A., and ANSI installation standards.
Because Corazza Shell Terrazzo contains natural shell and terrazzo materials, proper installation methods are essential. For specific questions or accepted industry standards, refer to the Natural Stone Institute.
Pre-Sealing Recommendations
Pre-sealing Corazza Shell Terrazzo tile before installation is recommended.
This helps protect the surface from staining caused by setting materials or grout during installation.
Use a penetrating-type sealer designed to leave the material looking natural. Suggested sealer brands include, but are not limited to:
Dupont™ Stonetech® Professional Sealer
Aqua Mix Sealer’s Choice 15 Gold
Always follow the sealer manufacturer’s instructions. Test the sealer in a small area before applying it to the full installation to confirm suitability and appearance.
Surface Preparation
Install Corazza Shell Terrazzo tile over a clean, sound, flat concrete or mortar substrate.
The surface must be free of contaminants or any condition that could compromise the bond of the tile.
Cutting Recommendations
Use a high-quality, well-maintained wet saw with a diamond blade designed for cutting stone materials.
A poorly maintained tile saw or improper blade may cause chipping during cutting. Cut slowly and carefully to help protect the tile edges and surface.
Grouting Considerations
Grout joints should be fully packed and free of voids and pits.
Clean excess grout from the surface while the grout is still fresh and before it hardens.
Before grouting the full installation, test in a small area to confirm that the selected grout color is suitable and that the surface does not scratch during grouting.

Use setting materials appropriate for cementitious-based natural shell terrazzo tile and the specific installation area.

5. Care & Maintenance

Routine Cleaning
Clean the tile surface with:
Mild pH-neutral detergent cleaner
Damp sponge

We show many of our products with Laticrete Permacolor grout in Bright White - you can choose any color that suits your style! We recommend swatching your grout with your tile to make sure you like the combination it in your space and lighting.
