These 4x4 white ceramic tiles are designed to add a traditional zellige style to your home, while the white design and natural finish is perfect for a rustic minimalist kitchen backsplash, a clean and soothing white tub surround with square ceramic tiles, or even a beautiful shower! Mix with the matching Mallorca White subway tiles to create a tile pattern wall without any loud colors, or angle them to give a diamond look! These heat and slip-resistant tiles are a great building staple that can be installed in many areas of use, making them as functional as they are stylish!

These tiles have a subtle, pearlescent glaze that adds a unique look and subtle shade variation to every tile piece. They have a slightly matte finish as opposed to the high shine gloss of Tile Club's La Riviera Blanc, a similar artisan style white ceramic tile.

** Tiles in the Mallorca collection are designed to have a unique, handcrafted appearance - there are slight surface variations from tile to tile, as well as two shades of gloss within each box. We recommend laying out your Mallorca White Ceramic Square tiles before you apply adhesive to make sure you like the mix of finishes before you install your tiles. All Mallorca tiles feature a pearl glazed finish. These pressed ceramic tiles feature intentional surface texture variation that give them a handmade look.

Installation & Application

Our zellige-style ceramic tiles should be used on indoor walls ony. They can be installed on a kitchen backsplash behind the stove, bathroom or shower wall, fireplace surround, or other indoor accent features. Tile Club Recommends a 3/16” grout joint for these pressed ceramic tiles.

Why the Mixed Finish is Intentional

In the world of mass-produced, "perfect" tiles, spaces can often feel flat and clinical. The Mallorca series rejects that. By intentionally mixing satin-matte and lustrous-gloss finishes, we achieve:
• Lustrous Depth: When light hits your wall, the varying finishes react differently. Some tiles catch the sun with a bright glint, while others absorb it, creating a "shimmer" effect that mimics sunlight hitting water.

• The "Handcrafted" Feel: The slight variations in sheen give each tile the soul of a handcrafted piece, suggesting it was shaped and glazed by an artisan rather than a machine.

• Visual Movement: This interplay prevents the "flat wall" effect. It adds texture and dimension that keeps the eye moving, making even a small backsplash feel like a focal point.

We recommend wet cutting or the score and snap method during the installation process. Improper installation techniques could expose installer to inhalation of harmful silica dust. Do not dry cut product using power tools during the installation process. Using dry cutting methods could present a risk of acute lung injury.
